Aux Quatre Points Cardinaux is hosting an Antique Map Exhibition in it’s Montreal store. The collection is owned by Corey Dickinson and he will present to answer your questions and discuss history and cartography with you. A rare and unique opportunity to discover a part of our history!

Declaring Nationhood presents a unique selection of hundreds of original vintage maps from Corey Dickinson’s personal collection. This exhibition reveals how cartography has been used throughout history to claim land, draw borders and construct national identities. From Canadian history to imperial enterprises around the world, these rare maps show how empires imagined and asserted control – often before truly knowing the territories they claimed. Join us for card-themed quizzes, curator talks, and the chance to handle additional pieces from the full collection!
